DIY Menu & Place Card
I am a cheap, cheap person, so when I found a wedding item that combined both a place card AND a menu, I was in full celebration mode.
I followed a Martha Stewart tutorial to achieve the fold however the link has since been taken down. I will have to do a trial and photograph it for you so bare with me :).
- Print Paper
- Double Sided Tape
- Glitter Paper
Because I wanted mine to be thinner and longer than the ones in the tutorial I followed, there was a lot of playing around with sizing and dimensions but we got there in the end! If you follow the steps in Martha’s tutorial, you’ll soon be able to nail the art of origami. You really don’t need many materials to create this, but a good computer program such as In-Design is preferable! I have however, re-created my template for you in a downloadable word file where you can edit the names. The decor and styling is up to you!
Download the editable word version here.
I absolutely loved creating these but after making 200 by hand, I was well and truly over it. If you attempt this for a larger wedding, I recommend adding this to a working bee list when you have the help of your bridal party.
