I hate nothing more than organising a space, for it to revert back to chaos shortly after because my methods are impractical. A linen closet is often a good example of that in most households. Despite the fact that I love everything looking pretty, I am also all for practicality, so here are my tips for organising your linen closet and making sure it stays organised: Pick a towel that you like, and stick with it. Having the same sized main towel makes it so much easier to fold the same ... Read the Post
Linen Closet Organisation
Organising under the kitchen sink
People often struggle with kitchen sink organisation and I don't blame them. The cupboards are usually awkwardly shaped and often underutilised. We have since replaced our kitchen bench and sink as part of a kitchen renovation. Here is what I was working with originally: Luckily, the exact same set up still fits with the new kitchen sink. I even managed to tidy up the plumbing a bit! As you can see by the very uneven holes, I attempted to drill into the cabinetry. Patience and ... Read the Post
Pantry Baking Corner
I absolutely adore the baking corner in my pantry. It was one of the very last additions I made and it has probably been my favourite. Now, I can display all my cute baking stuff which was previously hidden in drawers. I used the Ikea Spice Racks as my book holders and painted them pink. They're $4 each! I purchased the bottles from Myer and Wheel & Barrow (Maxwell & Williams) but unfortunately, they're no longer stocked. Numerous people have asked me about these bottles but unfortunately I am yet to find an alternative. I designed and printed my ... Read the Post
How much did my pantry cost?
I have had an overwhelming response to my pantry with lots of lovely comments and a heap of questions! I have also seen a few comments from people stating that this is a pantry made by someone with a lot of time and money. My entire blog philosophy is aimed an average person so I never want anyone to think any of my work is unattainable. Both my husband and I work pretty demanding full time jobs so time is not really on our side. The entire concept of the pantry was designed with the saying in ... Read the Post
Designing my Walk-in Pantry
I started the design for my walk in pantry about a year before our builder even thought about putting down a foundation. I made lists upon lists of what people keep in a pantry and took photos of the inside of ‘real' pantries everywhere I went because I was determined not to miss anything and not have a spot for it. So let’s just say, I’ve done all the hard work for you! Keep scrolling to see the final plans and scroll even further to see all my scribbles and lists where I was going to store ... Read the Post
